Calvary Way Kids
Our Children's Ministry program offers classes on Sunday morning for Pre-K thru 5th grade. In addition, we have a Nursing Mother's Room and a Family Room that both have a live feed of the service. We offer a Toddler Class for our young friends ages 1-3 on every 3rd Sunday of the month. 1st-5th grades are in service for worship each week and for the entire service on the first Sunday of every month.
Our aim in Children's Ministries is to assist you as you seek to train your children to follow Jesus. We will love them and speak God's Word into them; and we will pray for and encourage you as you raise them.
We have a long-range plan in our ministry to our children: getting them beyond rote learning to applying and living God's Word; becoming not just "hearers" but "doers."
Teaching is done interactively, incorporating a "question and answer" style of learning, designed to engage the children and teach them to "think" God's Word so that they can better understand how to live it.
Our Classes
Nursing Mother's Room A special room dedicated for mommies who need to tend privately to their babies, which includes a rocker and a changing table. Has a live feed of the service.
Toddler Class A class designed to cater our youngest attendees from age 1-3 this class is catered to help them have a safe space for fun and bible activities. We believe no child is too young to have the Bible read to them and we implement this saying in practice.
Family Room A room especially set apart for parents or guardians to take little ones of any age that may need the chance to release some energy. Has a live feed of the service.
2's/3's Thru Kindergarten This is a teacher-led class, which explains simple truths about God from the Bible. The love of Jesus and His truth will help build the foundation upon which your child will view God and the relationship they can have with Him. (Note: Children must be potty-trained and taken to the restroom prior to class. You will be notified if your child needs to visit the restroom during service.)
Elementary Class (1st-5th) Currently all grades are in one classroom under the instruction of a teacher and an aide. These students have a more focused Bible Study, using interactive questions/answers to teach children to learn directly from God's Word. We highly suggest sending your children to class with their own Bibles. (We use NKJV.)
All teachers and aides have undergone an extensive vetting process, including background checks. In addition, we have security patrol during service watching over our little ones.
